Hello, my name is Grace Sayles, and I was born in the providence of  Jiangsu, China as a cleft palate baby. I was adopted at the age of 4 into  a loving  American family, and traveled 18 hours back to my new home in  the United States.

This is where I found my love for art  and music as  a way to  express myself with flying colors. I am  truly lucky  to  have  such a family. Of course, because of my  palette, I  had to  undergo many surgeries at a young age,  and I feel that I  am not done yet.

This website was created to help you further understand cleft babies and some processes and hopefully help your nerves if  you are  going through the same thing. I will post my past diaries, post-operation pictures,  and my  lifeline on this website.
